In Loving Memory of Wendell Walter Webner “Walt"

Walt a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, family man, and vibrant soul, passed away on Aug 14th at 2:22am. He told us several times a day that his number was 2. Walt was an extraordinary individual whose infectious happiness and zest for life touched everyone he met.

A man of many talents, Walt was a skilled mechanic, an avid boater, and a passionate fisherman and hunter who found solace on the water and in nature. His storytelling captivated friends and family, weaving tales that brought laughter and wonder. Whether on the golf course, at the pool table, or on the slalom ski, Walt’s competitive spirit and love for games shone brightly. His industrious nature and thoughtful approach to life made him a problem-solver and a helper to all who needed him.

Walt’s adventurous spirit took him to many corners of the world, always eager to explore and embrace new experiences. Above all, Walt was a loving and dedicated family man, whose warmth and kindness left an unmistakable mark on his loved ones.

Walt’s legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will live on in the hearts of his family and countless friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Walter was born in Saint Anthony's hospital in Effingham Illinois, on June 14, 1947. He was one of four siblings. He was in the Navy from 1966 to 1970 with a tour in Vietnam.
