Vicki M. Fry

Vicki Mae Fry, 63, of Bunceton, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Ashley Manor in Boonville.

She was born October 12, 1959, in Augusta, GA, daughter of Glenn “Buck” Banner and Betty (Shackelford) Banner.

She was married to Tom Fry, who preceded her in death on May 1, 2010.

Vicki was a graduate of Smithton High School. She worked as a CNA at area nursing homes for many years. She loved crafting, coloring, woodworking, and listening to music. She loved her family in her own special way and did her best in life.

Surviving are two daughters, Brandy Dietzman (Daniel), and Hallie Mallott (Kenny), all of Bunceton; seven grandchildren, Ravin, Daniel “Bubba,” Blake, Taylor, Zoey, Kenny “Chunk,” and Tomi; a great-granddaughter, Autumn; and five siblings, John Banner (Cindy), Ben Banner (Meshel), Jeff Banner (Sherry), Jackie Lehman (Brian), and Angie Dumsday (Robert).

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Heckart Funeral Home.

Honorary bearers will be Daniel Dietzman, Bubba Dietzman, Kenny Mallott, Chunk Mallott, Robert Dumsday III, and Blake Neighbors.

Memorials are suggested to the family, in care of the funeral home.
