Veronica Tillery, 93, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at her home.

Better known as Ronnie, she was born April 7, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Matthew and Alice (Reimling) Fauvell.

On June 11, 1949 she married Roy E. Westlake, who preceded her in death in 1960.

On September 3, 1965 she married William L. Tillery, who preceded her in death in 1995.

Veronica worked as a CNA at Bothwell Hospital for several years, before retiring to care for her husband. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she was a Primary teacher and the Primary President. She and William went on a Stake mission. Anything she wanted to learn she accomplished, making homemade bread, crocheting/knitting, and sign language. She taught sign language classes in church. She was an excellent Canasta and Scrabble player.

Veronica loved Christmas movies, some scary movies, and definitely Hitchcock. She enjoyed listening to the St. Louis Cardinals games on the radio.

The last year of her life she would ask “are the kids happy and will they be okay when I go? (especially Debbie).
