Thomas M. Jacobs

Thomas Michael Jacobs, 71, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at his home.

He was born April 27, 1950, in Breckenridge, Minnesota, son of Peter and Margaret (Reinke) Jacobs.

Thomas served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era as a diesel tech aboard the USS Bainbridge, USS Missouri, and USS Long Beach.

With his technical education, he continued to work for 30 years in maintenance engineering in the casino industry. He also did maintenance in trailer parks.

He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed working with his hands.

Surviving are his son, Andrew Jacobs, of Sedalia; siblings, Beverly, Luella, Geraldine, Kathleen and Richard; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Virgil, Eugene and Adeline.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.
