Stacey L. Morrison

Stacey Lea Morrison, 43, of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on September 11, 1981, in Clinton, MO, a daughter of Eddie and Roxane (Hutton) Barnes. On May 22, 2004, in Sedalia, MO, she married Danny Morrison who survives of the home.

Stacey was a 1999 graduate of Warsaw High School, where she was known for her kind heart, creative spirit, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.

She was a faithful member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Warsaw, where she found strength and purpose in her walk with Christ. Stacey was also actively involved in the local homeschool co-op, where she built lasting friendships and shared her passion for nurturing and educating children.

Alongside her beloved husband, Danny, Stacey recently fulfilled a dream of creating a space for others to celebrate love and life’s milestones—they opened The Vault Wedding Venue in Warsaw, a project that beautifully reflected Stacey’s eye for beauty and her heart for bringing people together.

Stacey found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved reading and getting lost in a good book, spending time outdoors, camping with her loved ones, and tending to her garden. Yet above all else, her most treasured moments were those shared with her family. Whether gathered around the table, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying quiet evenings at home, Stacey’s love for her family was deep and unconditional.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her faith, and her selfless devotion to others. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished so dearly.

Stacey is survived by her husband Danny; four children, Kyle Nevius (Holly), Isabella Morrison, Alivia Morrison, and Madelyn Morrison all of Warsaw; her parents, Eddie and Roxane Barnes; three sisters, Malissha Barnes and Ashton Barnes both of Branson, MO, Chelsea Casteel (Chris) of Warsaw.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Warsaw. Memorial contributions are suggested to the donor’s choice.
