Sharon Ann (Kothe) Love

Sharon Ann (Kothe) Love, 84, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024.

She was born February 10, 1940, in Kirksville, daughter of Orenze and Selma Maxine (Dorrell) Kothe.

Sharon was a caring and private person who cherished visits from her grandchildren. Her expression of ministry was contributing to the Appalachian kids in need. She enjoyed sewing, watching NASCAR, and doing crafts. She was a Baptist and worked in publishing throughout her life.

Surviving are two daughters, Libby King (Larry) and Linda Smith (Gary), all of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Becky Nelson, Michael King, Bobbi Jo Smith, Bethany Johnson, and Sean King; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Bonnie Gladbach.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m Monday, July 8, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Salisbury, with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.

Casket bearers will be Larry King, Chance Moore, Michael King, Sean King, Shane Moore, and Matt Nelson.

Memorials are suggested to Appalachian Ministries, in care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
