Sharon Kay Coonce
Sharon Kay Coonce, 76, of Versailles, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at her home.
She was born March 16, 1945 in Sedalia, MO, a daughter of Forrest Glenwood Wilson and Velma Lucille Bale. On Sept 19, 1970 in Sedalia, MO she married Donald Coonce who survives of the home.
Sharon was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Jefferson City and attended the Assembly of God Church in Versailles. She worked many years at the Riverside Hospital in Jefferson City. She loved horses, taking country drives and most of all taking care of her husband Don.
Survivors include her husband Don of 50 years, four children, Cheryl Ann Kalkman of Sedalia, Steve D. McGinnis of Versailles, Tammy K. Liedlich of South Carolina, Donald Glenwood Coonce of Gravois Mills; one half brother, Bill Cochran of Florida; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to both of her parents she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill Cochran; two brothers, Gary Lee Wilson, and Jerry Wilson; one sister, Donna Ronsiebz.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Dresden Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Dresden Cemetery.
