Scott D. Teiberis
Scott D. Teiberis, 68, of Otterville, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at his home.
He was born February 19, 1951 in Cleveland, OH, a son of Charles and Sunelma (Kiviniemi) Teiberis. On February 4, 1972 in Evanston, WY, he married RaeDene (Nielsen), who survives of the home.
Scott honorably served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He worked as a signalman for the Union Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed hunting, mowing his yard, camping, boating, cooking, and anything outdoors. He will be remembered for his whit, being a good friend to many and enjoying life. Scott loved spending time with his family especially his grandbabies, great-grandbabies and his dog Peaches.
In addition to his wife of 47 years, survivors include two children, Sindy Phillips, of Warrensburg, Scott Teiberis (Leticia) of Otterville; 13 grandchildren, Zachary, Amanda, Jake, Brittony, Brandon, Hailey, Keith, Jensen, Conner, Melissa, Alex, Jose and Freddy; 10 great-grandchildren, Adriana, Elijah, Urijah, Jamie, Freya, Jazlynn, Jayla, London, Aurora and Mason; and two sisters, Jane Jones and Cindy Lloyd.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brett Teiberis; and a granddaughter, Cozette Teiberis.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, followed by full military honors by the United States Air Force and VFW Post 2591.
There will be no funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
