Roy Cecil Miller, Jr.

Roy Cecil Miller, Jr., 82, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Kansas City.

He was born December 19, 1942, in Sedalia, son of Roy C. Miller, Sr. and Oleta B. (Skaggs) Miller.

On November 1, 1999, in Wichita, KS, he was married to Marjorie D. (Rathbun) Losey, who preceded him in death on July 21, 2008.

Roy attended the Missouri School for the Deaf. He traveled around a lot throughout his life, making a living as a salesman wherever he went.

Surviving are children, Loretta Hatfield, Anthony Bray, and Archie Losey; and siblings, Elizabeth Craig, Marilyn Miller, and Leonard Miller.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Virginia Marie Alvarado, David Miller, Carol Sue Miller, Mary Dawson, and Sharon Hudson.

Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
