Ronald L. Byers (73) of Warsaw, MO passed away at Bothwell Regional Hospital in Sedalia Mo on November 23, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Byers, his daughters Jamie Byers and Kimberly (Darin) Stone, his brother Steve Byers, his grandchildren Peyton, Zakery, Zarana, Brenna, and Emma and several brother and sister in-laws as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Andrea, his father, Lawrence Byers, his mother Dorothy Byers and his mother-in-law Julie Sibert.
Ron was and outgoing and social person who loved people and life. He had an infectious smile and a kind heart. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. Above all, Ron was a devout man of God.
He was known for his funny pranks and his comically awful “dad jokes”. He loved to tell wild stories about Jesse James and his “days of glory riding with the younger gang”.
In the end, Ron went peacefully, surrounded by his wife, daughters and grandsons.
His family is asking that any donations be made to Poplar Baptist Church 25819 Poplar Church Ave Warsaw, MO 65355 or any church as an offering to help serve communities.
No services are scheduled for Ron at this time. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, MO.
