Roberta A. Walker

Roberta Ann Walker, 85, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at her home.

She was born May 6, 1937, in Gibbon, NE, daughter of Leslie and Elizabeth Baxter.

On February 8, 1958, in the State of California, she was married to Alvin Walker, who preceded her in death on October 1, 2015.

Roberta was a true homemaker who enjoyed gardening, reading, crafts, painting and baking, with her specialty being homemade cookies. She loved her Lord and had a special place in her heart for kids.

Survivors include three children: Kathrine Dodgen (Seab), of Sedalia, Keith Walker (Dei), of Dallas, TX, and Kent Walker, of Weatherford, TX; and five grandchildren: Alvin, Austin, Jennifer, Lawrence and Alex.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Walker; and siblings: Darlene, Barney, Butch, Susie, Betty, Berdina, Junior and Lamoine.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Olathe, KS.

Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association.
