Richard A. Carver

Richard Alvin “Rick” Carver, 61, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

Rick was born January 19, 1963, in Versailles, a son of William A. Carver and Janet (Hammerly) Carver.

He was a maintenance supervisor at River Valley Foods.

He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and making people laugh.

He is survived by his fiancé, Lisa England, of the home; his father and stepmother, Bill and Shirley Carver, of Florence; his mother, Janet “Cookie” Carver, of Stover; a brother, Rusty Carver, and his wife Linda, of Sedalia; a sister, Ranee James, of Stover; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

Memorial services will be 6:00 pm, Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Heckart Family Center, 915 S Ohio, Sedalia.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until service time.

Memorial contributions may be offered to a charity of the donor’s choice in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
