Ralph Wayne Randall

Ralph Wayne Randall, 82, of Dresden, passed away January 3, 2024 at his home.

He was born November 15, 1941 in Florence, a son of the late Ralph B. and Georgetta (Homan) Randall. On December 30, 1961, in Sedalia, he was married to Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Stohr, who survives of the home.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church and attended Sacred Heart Chapel.

In his early years, Ralph worked with his father painting missile silos. He then went to work for Missouri Public Service as a pipe fitter and meter reader for 38 years until his retirement.

Ralph enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and being on his tractor. He was an avid Chiefs fan. He loved his pets and was especially close to his Boxer, Buddy. He loved and was proud of his family.

Ralph will be remembered as a hard worker. He wore bib overalls and always had hard candy in his pocket. He was a devoted husband and provided love and care for his sweetheart, Betty.

In addition to his wife, Betty, survivors include five children, Brenda Gutierrez, of Dresden, Barbara Carney (Tim), of Sedalia, Steve Randall (Karen), of Hughesville, John Randall (Angela), of Dresden, and Patricia Bock (Donovan), of Sedalia; nine grandchildren, Ryan Randall and Amanda Randall, Shelby Carney and John Carney, Zebulon Randall, Jessica Gutierrez and Luke Gutierrez, Brenna Bock and Draven Bock; and three great-grandchildren, Creedance Gutierrez, Hadley Randall and Easton Bryan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Larry, Bobby and Danny Randall.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul, Sacred Heart Chapel with Father Joseph Corel presiding.

There will be no visitation.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
