Ralph Eye

Ralph Conrad Eye, 77, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019, at his home, with his family by his side.

He was born December 31, 1941, in Pettis County, a son of Ulrey Seburn Eye and Nannie B. (Anderson) Eye.

Ralph was a lineman for the local power companies for forty-two and a half years. He was skilled at many things including welding and repairing cars. Ralph loved restoring tractors and participating in tractor pulls. He enjoyed wildlife and bird watching. He was a hard worker, a gentleman and a good mentor to his sons and his friends.

Survivors include his sons, Ralph Eye, Jr (Kathe Brandkamp), and Chris Eye (Christy); one daughter, Julie D. Roberts; four grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Elizabeth and Chris Jr. (who he called “Bubba J”); one great-granddaughter, Delilah; a brother, William Eye; and two sisters, Mary Sisemore and Minnie A. Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald L. Eye and Robert S. Eye; and two sisters, Adelaide L. Hoehns and Charlene Ehlers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 21, at Heckart Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, at Heckart Funeral Home.
