Penny S. Biggerstaff
Penny Sue Martz Biggerstaff, age 60, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020.
She was born on January 16, 1960, the daughter of George and Emma Martz. Penny graduated with the class of 1979 from Shawnee Mission West High School.
Penny was a caretaker for much of her life, running a daycare for many years and providing individual in-home care. Penny was famous for her homemade doughnuts and all who knew her would scramble to get their fill whenever she made them. She enjoyed cooking, ceramics, various crafts and spending time with her grandchildren. Penny was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.
She is survived by her beloved son Luke Biggerstaff, daughter-in-law Amy and three grandchildren: Emmagail, Ella and Gunnar. She leaves behind four brothers and five sisters, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and Emma Martz.
At Penny’s request there will be no formal memorial service. Interment will be at Clear Creek Nonendowed Cemetery of Lincoln, Missouri.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
