Patrick J. Elwood

Patrick John Elwood, 71, of Windsor, went to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday, September 30, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City.

He was born August 26, 1950, in Long Beach, CA, son of Elmer Lyle and Shirley Elwood.

Pat served honorably in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He owned and operated a propane business in California before retiring and moving to Missouri. He also had his own welding business and had worked on the pipeline.

He was proud of his ’64 Galaxy which he called his “Baby.” He loved drag racing and going to car shows.

Pat selflessly did a lot for a lot of people. He helped many veterans obtain their VA benefits. He also worked with AA and other programs, helping many get their lives back on track. He did so with a Christ like spirit. He attended Grace Fellowship helping with baptisms, serving the Lord’s supper and many other events. He enjoyed serving God. He will be truly missed but certainly not forgotten.
