Pamela Sue Williams, 56, of La Monte, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, November 21, 2025, at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born May 14, 1969, in Kansas City, the daughter of Frederick McLean and Rosemary (Huff) Linthacum. On December 25, 2015, she was united in marriage to Stephen Williams.

Pam was a 1988 graduate of Lee’s Summit High School. Most recently, she was an employment specialist at Compass Health. She had a special place in her heart for dogs in need and was involved with Pittie’s Rescue Group.

Family was the center of Pam’s world—especially her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. She was a good storyteller, a woman with a tenderness for others, and someone who cared about her loved ones without judgment. Pam was loving, humble, strong, generous, and always ready to help the underdog. Throughout her two-year battle with cancer, she continued to give glory to Jesus, facing each day with faith and grace. She is now made whole, resting in His arms.

Surviving are her husband, Stephen, of the home; three sons, Joshua Cole Hudson of Lenexa, KS, Shane Marion Williams (Shelby) of Sedalia, and Jason Alan Hudson (Chelsie) of Holden; eleven grandchildren, Danielle Hudson, Oliver, Benjamin and Penelope Williams, Lucas and Liam Hudson, Haidyn, Emerson and Persephone Martin; other loving family members; her mother and stepfather, Rosemary and Alan Linthacum of Independence; her father and stepmother, Fred and Cynthia McLean of Peculiar; a brother, David Linthacum; and a sister, Michelle Ferraro.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Heckart Funeral Home, where a memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in La Monte Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the KU Cancer Center, in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
