Michael Wayne Ronspiez

Michael Wayne Ronspiez, 57, of Sedalia, died Friday, February 27, 2026, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

He was born July 13, 1968, in Sedalia, son of Robert “Bob” and Donna (Wilson) Ronspiez.

As a teenager, Michael swam with the Sedalia Swim Team, ran track and cross country, and played soccer.

Michael served in the United States Army. He was the owner of Tile Missouri, laying tile all over the area.

He enjoyed art, hiking, hunting, fishing, farming and livestock, spending time with his family, and taking a cruise on his motorcycle. He loved animals.

Surviving are his father, Bob Ronspiez; a brother, Robert Dale Ronspiez, Jr.; and a sister, Cynthia Martenson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Ronspiez.

Friends and relatives may pay their respects from Noon to 5:00 pm, Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Heckart Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Spring Fork Cemetery, Hwy U, Sedalia.

His father and brother will carry the casket.
