Michael Jon "Mike" Borbey, Sr.

Michael Jon “Mike” Borbey, Sr, 67, of Sedalia, Missouri, formerly of Orlando, Florida, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026, at his home.

He was born January 13, 1959, in Dearborn, Michigan, a son of the late Frank and Nancy (Ratzlaff) Borbey. On January 13, 2012, in Kissimmee, Florida, he married Robyn Culley, who survives at the home.

Mike was happily retired and embraced life with enthusiasm. He enjoyed traveling, especially trips to the beach, and loved spending time outdoors playing golf. Known for his great sense of humor, he often created his own jokes and had a way of making people laugh. Mike never met a stranger and was naturally sociable. His presence brightened a room, and he enjoyed sharing life with those around him.

In addition to his wife, Robyn, survivors include two children, Michael Jon Borbey, Jr. (Brianna), of Houston, Texas, and Ashleigh Borbey, of New Orleans, Louisiana; three stepchildren, R.J. Culley (Drea Gonzalez), of Denver, Colorado, Ryan Culley, of Warsaw, Missouri, and Kasie Setcavage, of Tampa, Florida; one uncle, Allen Bryson, of Orlando, Florida; one grandson, Michael Jon Borbey, III; and three step-grandchildren, Emma Culley, Ezra Culley, and Eddie Culley.
