Linda Kay (Purdy) Stockton, 74, of Sedalia, died August 26, 2020, at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home.
She was born July 17, 1946, in Versailles, daughter of Ralph Raymond and Frances Isabelle (Stone) Purdy.
Linda worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, had owned two businesses and was a certified court reporter.
She was the mother of four children: Jamie Wilhoit, Robert Morris, Lori Maddex and Brandon New. She is also survived by four siblings: Joan Murphy, David Purdy, Judy Zepnick and Charlotte Gayle Sport; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jim Purdy; and a sister, Dixie Purdy.
No services are planned at this time.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
