Laurence Dale “Larry” Gates, 66, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Rest Haven Convalescent & Retirement Home.
Larry was born January 26, 1953 in Brunswick, MO, a son of Glen Dale Gates and Dorothy Ellen (Stice) Minich.
Larry worked as a farm hand growing up and enjoyed tractors and the farming lifestyle. He loved animals, especially his dogs Chloe and Mr. T.
Survivors include two sisters, Glenda Robertson (Matt) of Sedalia, MO,
Debra Ostlund of Long Beach, CA; two brothers, Greg Gates of Kansas City, MO and Steve Gates (Cynthia) of Castle Rock, CA.
In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, David Ostlund.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
