Kimberly D. Anderson, 62, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.
She was born December 15, 1959, in Pettis County, a daughter of Cecil P. and Lena M. (DeHaven) Young. On June 3, 1978, at Calvary Baptist Church in Sedalia, she married Brett L. Anderson, who survives of the home.
Kimberly was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandkids and her dog, Rosie. She enjoyed shopping online.
In addition to her husband, Brett, she is survived by three daughters, Kristina Moore (Josh), Kerri Schirlls (Tim) and Katie Ferrell (Adam); six grandchildren, Nick “Bub” Semler, Kayla Semler, Christian Moore, Kaylee Ferrell, Abby Ferrell and Evie Ferrell; one great-grandchild, Kristalyn Moore; a sister, Debbie Wissman; and a brother, Paul Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Lena Young; and her grandparents, Clyde & Rosie DeHaven and Minnie & Paul Young.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Heckart Funeral Home with Rev. Randy May officiating. Pallbearers will be Nick “Bub” Semler, Josh Moore, Tim Schirlls, Adam Ferrell, Danny Wissman and Derrick Wissman. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Young and Dan Wissman.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00pm-7:00pm Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Heckart Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorials to Relay for Life in care of the funeral home.
