Kenneth Eugene Purl

Kenneth Eugene Purl, a devoted father, faithful servant of Jehovah, and cherished friend, passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 76.

Kenneth was born on March 23, 1950, in Sedalia, Missouri. He lived a life defined by faith, resilience, and quiet strength. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 31, 1981, and for 44 years remained steadfast in his faith. He found deep purpose in his ministry and formed lasting bonds with his spiritual family. His dedication to sharing Bible-based hope and encouraging others was a guiding force throughout his life.

He raised two sons, David and Kenan Purl, whom he loved deeply. David remained by his father's side from birth, and Kenneth faithfully guided him in both spiritual and secular ways of life-teaching him not only how to live, but how to think, work, and carry himself with integrity.His influence as a father was steady, meaningful, and enduring.

Kenneth was loved by many friends and family, known for his thoughtful nature, his wisdom, and his willingness to be there when others needed him. His sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him, bringing light even in difficult times. Whether through conversation, laughter, or simple acts of kindness, he left a lasting impression on those around him.

He is survived by his siblings, Greg Purl, Brenda Griffin, Victoria Hayes, Arthur Purl, Charles Puri, and Alicia Henderson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Magdalena Purl; his parents, Lloyd Purl and Ruby Purl; and his brothers, Sheldon Purl and Dennis Purl.

His life was one of purpose, shaped by faith, family, and the values he held close. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he gave and the lessons he passed on will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
