Kenneth Eugene “Ken” Albers, 90, of Sedalia, MO, formerly of Lincoln, NE, passed away Sunday May 25, 2025 at his home.

He was born April 12, 1935, in Waco, NE, a son of the late Herman B. and Freda S. (Simon) Albers. On March 21, 1972, in Lincoln, he married Viola D. McGowen, who survives him at home.

Ken was a 1953 graduate of Lincoln Northeast High School and went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1959.

He took great pride in his work as a candy maker with Russell Stover and House of Bauer.

Known for his sharp wit and warm sense of humor, Ken loved to laugh and engage in spirited conversations, especially about farming and politics. He had a genuine interest in people and never missed a chance to share a story or a smile.

He and his beloved wife, Viola, shared a passion for ballroom dancing, even winning some local dance contests. Together, they created a life full of joy, movement, and mutual admiration.

Ken was also a talented fixer and carpenter who found great satisfaction in remodeling homes. He had a love for classic western films and could often be found cheering on Nebraska sports teams and the Kansas City Chiefs.
