Katherine N. Hanna
Katherine Nadine Hanna, 90, of Sedalia, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 12, 2021.
She was born September 6, 1930, in Sedalia, a daughter of the late Louis and Grayce (Knoche) Koeller. On June 1, 1957, in Sedalia, she was married to William S. Hanna who preceded her in death by August 26, 2017.
She worked over 38 years for Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific railroad in office administration.
Katherine was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 40&8, Jolly Elders, NARVRE, International Organization of Rebekah Assemblies and Ducks Unlimited.
She will be warmly remembered for her kind disposition and giving the best hugs.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Margaret Gregory (Clinton “Lee”), Viola Stahl (Robert) and James Koeller; and two nephews: Timothy Gregory and Steve Koeller.
Friends may pay their respects and sign the guest book between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021 at Heckart Funeral Home.
A private funeral service will be held with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
