Juan Nuci Villegas

Juan Nuci Villegas, de 93 años, de Sedalia, falleció el miércoles 26 de agosto de 2026, en su hogar.

Nació el 4 de noviembre de 1932, en Ahuiran, Michoacán, México, hijo de Protocio Nuci Martínez y Anastacia Villegas Flores.

Juan estaba casado con Candelaria Estrada Silva.

Sirvió en el ejército mexicano. Prestó servicio en los Estados Unidos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial a través del Programa Bracero y finalmente hizo de los Estados Unidos su hogar. Trabajó para Tyson Foods.

Juan fue un esposo, padre y abuelo dedicado. Fue una persona respetada en su comunidad y un miembro dedicado de Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Sedalia.

Juan tenía un gran amor por la música y era un talentoso compositor, cantante y fabricante de guitarras. Escribió muchas canciones y disfrutaba compartir su música con los demás. También tocaba el bajo y la guitarra. Ademas disfrutaba ver la lucha libre.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Candelaria; tres hijos y sus tres nueras, Mateo Nuci Estrada (Ashley Nuci), Juan Nuci Estrada (Rosa Sotelo Nuci) y Pedro Nuci Estrada (Anna Maria Silva Rubio); y doce nietos.

Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres; una hermana; y cinco hermanos.

El funeral se llevará a cabo a las 7:00 p.m. el miércoles 2 de septiembre de 2026, en Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Sedalia, 600 S. Summit, Sedalia, MO.

Los servicios están a cargo de Heckart Funeral Home.

Juan Nuci Villegas, 93, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at his home.

He was born November 4, 1932, in Ahuiran, Michoacán, Mexico, the son of Protocio Nuci Martínez and Anastacia Villegas Flores.

Juan was married to Candelaria Estrada Silva.

He served in the Mexican military. He served in the United States during World War II through the Bracero Program and eventually made the United States his home. He was employed by Tyson Foods.

Juan was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a respected member of his community and a dedicated member of Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Sedalia.

Juan had a love for music and was a talented composer, singer, and guitar maker. He wrote many songs and enjoyed sharing his music with others. He played bass and guitar. He also enjoyed watching wrestling.

Surviving are his wife, Candelaria; three sons and three daughters-in-law: Mateo Nuci Estrada (Ashley Nuci), Juan Nuci Estrada (Rosa Sotelo Nuci), and Pedro Nuci Estrada (Anna Maria Silva Rubio); and twelve grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and five brothers.

The funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Sedalia, 600 S. Summit, Sedalia, MO.
