John A. Bodenhamer
John A. Bodenhamer, 90, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at his home.
He was born on April 8, 1933 in Irondale, MO, a son of Hobart and Edna Bodenhamer. On November 22, 1952 in East St. Louis, IL, he married Thelma J. Duppass who preceded him in death on April 26, 2006.
John honorably served in the United States Air Force and worked for many years at Alcan Cable. He loved to go dancing with his wife Thelma. He also enjoyed fishing and camping.
Survivors include his daughter, Debra Delph of Syracuse; three grandchildren, Stacy Schoen, Adam Schoen, and Justin Schoen; seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to both of his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by four brothers, and one sister.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum with full military honors provided by the VFW Post 2591 and United States Air Force. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Donor’s Choice. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
