Jennifer D. Jones Mather
Jennifer Dawn Jones Mather, 46, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Born October 3, 1973, in Granger, UT, she was one of six children of David L. and Sheri L. (Lever) Jones.
Jennifer was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a very strong and independent person. She enjoyed gardening and was very fond of playing games with her family, at which she was very competitive. Jennifer was dedicated to helping others, especially veterans, and proudly did so through her job as the club manager of the American Legion Post in Sedalia. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, David and Sheri Jones, survivors include six children, Andrew Mather (Kayla), Avery Mather, Ashlyn Mather, Ariel Mather, Atticus Pyle and Alyssa Mather; three brothers, David Jones, Paul Jones and Jared Jones; two sisters, Tossinee Young and Rebecca Dean; and her former husband, Shawn Mather.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Broadway and Park, Sedalia, MO, with Bishop Evan Stout conducting.
Casket bearers will be Andrew Mather, Avery Mather, Addison Selvey, David Jones, Paul Jones and Jared Jones. Atticus Pyle will be an honorary bearer.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the chapel.
