James L. Shepard, 90, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Rest Haven Convalescent Center.
He was born November 24, 1933, in Sedalia, a son of the late Leonard and Anna (Carlson) Shepard.
James was preceded in death by five sisters and their spouses, Dorothy Sands (Raymond), Lucille Meyers (Marion), Ruth Epley (Don), Betty Eickhoff (E.L.) and Mary Webb (Jake).
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Springfield with full military honors.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
