James Rodney Hawkins, Jr.
James Rodney Hawkins, Jr. 73, of Warsaw formerly of Sedalia passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at the Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on March 20, 1948, in Sedalia, MO, a son of James Rodney and Norma Louise (Scott), Hawkins.
Jimmy enjoyed fishing, watching sports and westerns and being around his family. In his younger years he liked going roller skating with his brothers and sister.
Survivors include two brothers, Clifford Allen Hawkins and Daniel Matthew Hawkins both of Sedalia; four nieces, Merri Plue (David), Sabrinia Comfort, Memory Hawkins, and Rebekah Gallagher all of Sedalia; one nephew, Charles Matthew Schlobohm.
Jimmy was preceded in death by both of his parents and one sister, Merry Schlobohm.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at the Smithton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center.
