James R. Cowles
James Roy “Jimmy” Cowles, 53, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born July 14, 1968, in Mexico, Missouri, son of Claude Dale and Beverly Diana (Richey) Cowles.
Jimmy was a loving and joyful person to all he knew. He liked clocks, reading, and watching TV. He enjoyed being social and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are a son, Michael and his wife Karina; his mother, Beverly Cowles; four siblings, Mary McAnulty, Diana Rae McCarrick, Kathleen Taylor and Christopher Cowles; three grandchildren; Natalee, Erika, and Alyssa; three nieces, Brooklin, Allison, and Shani; three nephews, Joshua, Brandon, and Marshall.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Cowles, and one nephew, Ronnie.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Crown Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Gary Richardson officiating.
Memorials are suggested to Missouri School for the Blind.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
