Jacqueline Ann “Jackie” Miller, 83, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.

She was born August 7, 1941, in Highland, IN, a daughter of the late Arnold and Mari-Jeanne (Shadowan) Wirth. On August 24, 1962, in Falun, WI, she married Stanley E. Miller who survives.

During her time in Luck, Wisconsin, Jackie primarily worked as a babysitter, nurturing and caring for countless children. Her talent extended to the kitchen, where she was known as an excellent cook and baker. Jackie possessed a remarkable ability to create delicious meals from simple ingredients, turning everyday moments into feasts. She generously shared her culinary gifts through her work at a local bakery, as a school cook's assistant, and by preparing meals for Meals on Wheels.

Following their retirement, Jackie and Stanley embarked on a new chapter, relocating to Sedalia, Missouri. There, she became a member of Bethany Baptist Church, finding fellowship and community.

Jackie was a woman of many talents and passions. She was an excellent seamstress, she poured her creativity into her work. She also found joy in the outdoors, particularly through camping adventures. Jackie will be fondly remembered for her warm hospitality and the special fun she shared with her grandchildren. Above all, she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Stanley, survivors include a son, Eric Miller, of WI; three daughters, Kathryn Burnett (Jason), of Sedalia, Alicia Archibald (Archie), of Siren, WI, and Kimberly Jensen (Brian), of Chippewa Falls, WI; a sister, Betty Lou Thompson (Tom), of Bradenton, FL; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, McKenzie Jensen, of Chippewa Falls, WI, Jamie Miller, of Ely, MN, Morgan Taylor (Daniel) and their children, Karsen, Haddie, Barrett, Jensen, Evan and Hayes, of Eau Claire, WI, Landen Strilzuk (Alicia) and their children, Madden and Ryley, of Evans, CO, Braeden Jensen (McKenzie) and their children, Miller, Dane and Anders, of Lynn Haven, FL, Noah Burnett (Nicole) and their children, Marietta and Auggie, of New Richmond, WI, and Emilee Limanskiy (Daniel) and their son, Joseph, of Sedalia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ryley Strilzuk.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Monday, May 12, 2025 at Bethany Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Travis Battershell officiating.

No burial is scheduled at this time.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Bethany Baptist Church in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
