Jacqueline Burns-Ritsch

Jacqueline Burns-Ritsch, 89, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

She was born June 8, 1935, in Topeka, KS, daughter of Dorothea and Ernie Gillespie.

On May 20, 1988, she was united in marriage to Joseph Edward Ritsch.

Jacquie worked in accounting for the Coca-Cola Corporation. She was of the Catholic faith.

She enjoyed camping and hiking, and especially loved to travel.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph, of the home; two children, David and Brian; three stepsons, Bill, Jonathon, and Ed; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Nealece.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Bill.

In accordance with Jacquie’s wishes, no services will be held. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
