Iker Jaime Lemus-Martinez

Iker Jaime Lemus-Martinez, 24, of LaMonte, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

He was born September 21, 1995, in Michoacan, Mexico, a son of Marcelo Lemus and Faviola Martinez.

Iker was a 2015 graduate of LaMonte High School. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish and attended St. Patrick Church. He worked at Tyson Foods.

He loved his family and friends and spending time with them. He also enjoyed listening to music.

He is survived by his parents; seven siblings, Maria J., Mariana, Marcelo, Yanet, Maria G., Faviola and Maria S. Lemus; six nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

Prayers of the Rosary will be said at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Heckart Funeral Home, with visitation following until 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2020 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father David Veit officiating.

Those attending services should wear a mask.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
