Heraldo Davila-Guerrero, 48, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

He was born January 1, 1976, in Gustavo Diaz Ordaz, Tamaulipas, Mexico, a son of Heraldo Davila and Plutarca Guerrero. On September 18, 2009, in Independence, he married Oneyda Ramirez.

Heraldo loved soccer and was a referee at one time. He enjoyed watching soccer on TV and his favorite team was Club America. He enjoyed grilling.

He will be remembered as a loving, funny, humble and amazing, husband, father, son, uncle and son-in-law.

Heraldo is survived by his wife, Oneyda; his mother, Plutarca Guerrero, of Texas; a son, Alex Davila, of the home; a daughter, Alejandra Davila; two brothers, Jose Davila and Luz Davila; five sisters, Norma Zurita, Hilda Davila-Guerrero, Lidia Davila-Ortega, Lucia Davila and Claudia Davila, all of Edinburg, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Heraldo Davila.

Funeral services will be 12:00 pm noon, Friday, April 19, 2024 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
