Harrold Andrew Hunsaker, 66, of Sedalia, died Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Rest Haven Health Care Center, where he had resided for the past eleven years.

He was born September 7, 1959, in Sedalia, the son of Gordon Douglas Hunsaker and Betty Lavern (Lindsey) Hunsaker.

Harrold worked for several years at Quaker Windows in Freeburg, Missouri. He also spent time traveling to deliver and pick up medical equipment. He enjoyed keeping fish aquariums and reading. An animal lover, he especially loved dogs. Harrold had a playful sense of humor and enjoyed playing jokes on others. Although he tended to keep to himself, he was kind, loving, and a devoted brother. He also helped a former girlfriend raise her three children.

Surviving are two sisters, Nancy Pummill of Sedalia and Dora Freeman of Green Ridge; three step-siblings, Debbie Williams, Kathy Lange, and David Paxton Jr.; a niece, Evelyn Harms; two nephews, David Pummill Jr. and Michael Pummill; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Doris Hunsaker; a stepsister, Donna Riley; and a great-nephew, Corban.

No services are planned. Harrold will be laid to rest beside his father at Crown Hill Cemetery.
