Geneanne M. Kearney Wilson

Geneanne Marie Kearney Wilson, 63, of Smithton, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

She was born December 23, 1955, in Dodge City, KS, daughter of Bryce B. Bone and Nancy L. (Lane). She was raised by Bryce and Sue Bone.

On April 21, 1990, in Las Vegas, NV, she married Roy W. Wilson.

To know Geneanne was to love her. She was an integral part of the Smithton Community, making many friendships as she delivered the mail each day. She was also a strong supporter of Smithton School. Her presence will be greatly missed.

Outside of work, she enjoyed going to the lake, fishing, sewing, cooking and baking. She was an amazing pie baker.

She will be remembered as a caring and loving person, and for her big heart.

Surviving are her husband, Roy, of the home; four children, Catrina Kratzer (Tony), of Smithton, Bryce Kearney, of Jefferson City, Sarah Kearney, of Sedalia, and Roy Wilson Jr., of Smithton; nine grandchildren, Alexandria Barr, Madison Kratzer, Kelcie Kratzer, Noah Kratzer, Sariyah, Alyssya Cason, Ahlyna Cason, Keyan Harvey, and Olivia; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jordyn Hood; two brothers, Jay Bone (Sherri), of Smithton, and Joel Bone (Lori), of Dodge City, KS; and two half-brothers, Marc Faulkner and Jeff Faulkner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sam Kearney; and two sisters, Janie Leonard and Jill Merys.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the Smithton Community Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family or Cancer Perks.
