Florence Margaret Turner, age 105, formerly of rural Sedalia, MO, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Ambrose Park Residential Care Facility, Cole Camp, MO. She was born on August 22, 1920, in Wilcox, MO, the only daughter of the late Ora Francis Hainline and Clara Iva (Sloan) Hainline.

On August 24, 1941, they were united in marriage in St. Joseph, MO. Willie preceded her in death on their 59th wedding anniversary, August 24, 2000.
Florence was an active member of the Pettis County Extension Service, serving over 50 years. She was a member of the Prairie Ridge Club, the Lov Less Club, the Providence Baptist Church and the Lamine Baptist Church. She was active in her children’s education and extracurricular activities and a leader in 4-H, primarily teaching sewing and vegetable cultivation. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing clothing, quilting, reading, extension club meetings and family dinners. When her husband was away on construction projects, she ran the family farm with their 8 children.
In addition to her parents and husband, Florence was preceded in death by two brothers and their wives, Harold Hainline (Margaret) and Joe Fred Hainline (Ermil); daughter, Virginia Conaway; sons-in-law Ellis Barker and Kenneth Blue; and daughters-in-law Carolyn Turner and Lisa Turner.
