Florence Alene Lakey, 85, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia, MO.
She was born November 11, 1932 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Cecil Earl and Allie (Woodall) Lakey.
Florence worked for Rival Manufacturing Company for many years.
Survivors include one sister, Wilma Hotson (Melvin) of Sedalia, MO; three nephews, Robert Earl Lakey of Independence, MO, Melvin E. Hotson II of Overland Park, KS, William Lakey of Blue Springs, MO; and two nieces, Statie K. Hotson, LaDonna Heuerman both of Sedalia, MO.
In addition to both of her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Q. Lakey.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, at Heckart Funeral Home.
