Everett “Mike” Michael
Everett “Mike” Michael rejoined his heavenly family on December 30, 2021 at 10:07 pm. He was 77.
Born in Perry, Kansas on January 26, 1944. He was preceded in death by his Father Carl, Mother Mildred, one brother Donald, and four sisters, Eunice, Dixie, Carlene, Eloise, and one grandchild Ryan.
He is survived by one brother David, children Michael Bogdan and his wife Jill, Jodi Brittain and her husband David, Brandi Houston, Carl Michael and his wife Melonie, and Brian Michael and his wife Rachel. He had many nieces, nephews, and 15 grandchildren that he loved very dearly and made it a point to make sure they knew.
He served in the Navy for 3 yrs on a destroyer during the Vietnam conflict. He was a great musician and loved nothing more than getting together with close friends and family just to play his favorite songs by Willie Nelson and entertain everyone with his endless catalog of jokes.
A Celebration of Mike’s Life Music Jam has been rescheduled for 2:00 pm-6:00pm Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the American Legion Post #642, 2016 W. Main Street in Sedalia. All musicians who knew and played with Mike are invited to come and play, and all his friends that don’t play music are invited to come and enjoy the music.
