Sedalia

Elizabeth Aimee Davis, 39, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at University Hospital in Columbia.

She was born August 3, 1986, in Shreveport, Louisiana, the daughter of Rik and Brenda (Loyd) Davis.

Elizabeth was a 2004 graduate of Knob Noster High School, where she excelled in cheerleading, a passion she later shared with her daughter. She enjoyed all genres of music, Harry Potter, the Kansas City Royals (her “Boys in Blue”), THE Ohio State Buckeye football, and watching WWE with her “baby boy.” She loved her cats and treasured the time she spent with family and friends.

Survivors include her parents, Rik Davis, of Ohio and Brenda Davis of Sedalia; two children, Isla Grace Davis and Elliott Graham Davis-Bolinger; six siblings, Mandy Peters and Taryn Oler, both of Ohio, Camilla Wise of Oklahoma, Alysha Kegley and Brandon Davis, both of Ohio, and Jackson Loyd Goff of Sedalia; her uncle, Mike Loyd (Anna) of Missouri; her aunt, Cyndi Layton (Gerrard) of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, MaryAnn Nicol; maternal great-grandparents, Curt and Bonna Loyd; maternal great-grandmother, MaryEllen Gaeta; and maternal aunt, Rhonda Caudill.
