Elijah P. Scott

Elijah Paul Scott, 45, of Sedalia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

He was born May 6, 1981, in North Kansas City, the son of Bernice and Sheryl Davidson.

Elijah was a private person who enjoyed collecting things, especially Power Rangers. He also liked Lilo & Stitch and had an extensive collection of sneakers. He enjoyed spending time at the lake with friends.

Despite having health problems of his own, Elijah was devoted to his mother, who resides in a nursing home. He visited her every day, from sun-up to sun-down, making sure she was cared for and never alone.

He is survived by his mother, Sheryl Davidson; his brother, Elisha Davidson (Bridget); and his nieces and nephews, Gage Davidson, Jorden Clark, Mersadez Clark, Cooper Davidson, Celsey Blackburn, and Zion Laster.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernice Davidson; and his sister, Timon Mendoza.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
