Earlene J. Walz, 88, of Sedalia, died Monday, August 12, 2019, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
She was born August 4, 1931, in Pilot Grove, daughter of John William and Ida Joan Marie (Lorenz) Walz.
Earlene worked for Town & Country Shoes and Neet Archery Products. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, and had played on a softball team with her shoe factory co-workers.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Glenn Taylor and Steve Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and three brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Cemetery near Clifton City.
Friends may sign the guest book between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Heckart Funeral Home.
