Douglas Allen Frisbie

Douglas Allen Frisbie, 69, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, October 23, 2026, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

He was born on December 14, 1956, in Sedalia, Missouri, a son of Charles and Anna Mae (Woolery) Frisbie.

Doug was a 1975 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia. He worked for many years at Regal Beloit in Lincoln, Missouri, where he later retired.

Hard work was an important part of Doug's life. He enjoyed staying busy and working as much as he could, finding satisfaction in a job well done.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Frisbie; three siblings, Diana Nichols, Brad Frisbie (Cindy) and Stacey Rankus (Edward); and two grandchildren, Abrianna and Aiden Frisbie; three nieces and two nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by both of his parents.

For the past 14 months, Doug was a resident at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center. The family greatly appreciates the compassion and quality care the staff provided Doug while he was there. We are forever grateful.
