Donna K. Harrison

Donna K. Harrison, 71, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.

She was born February 26, 1953, in Clinton, a daughter of the late Donald F. and Florence W. (Huddleston) Gassen. She was married to Dale Harrison who preceded her in death on August 20, 2010.

Donna grew up in Warrensburg and attended Warrensburg High School. She later earned her GED at State Fair Community College. She also attended post-secondary classes at SFCC and online.

She worked many jobs including labor positions at Rival and Tyson, a nursing assistant and clerked and managed convenience stores.

Donna was artistic and enjoyed painting, especially diamond painting, drawing, cross stitch, and crocheting. She loved the outdoors and appreciated nature through camping and fishing trips. She loved her dog, Oddball.

Survivors include two daughters, Misty Rahe and Brandy Craig (James Price); a sister, Theresa Powell, all of Sedalia; five stepchildren, Barbara Aslin, Robert Harrison, Theresa Bowie, Adam Harrison and Derek Harrison; four grandchildren, Dakota Rahe, Alxis Ralston, Hunter Rahe and Gabby Hamby; two great-grandchildren, Braxton Ralston and Zadie Ralston.

A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at a later date.
