Diana L. Bye

Diana Lynn Bye, 78, of North Kansas City, MO, passed away Monday, November 2, 2026, at The Living Center in Marshall, MO.

Diana was born on September 8, 1948, in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Carlos and Thelma Bridge.

She was a graduate of North Kansas City High School and worked for many years as a housekeeper at North Kansas City Hospital.

Diana loved browsing thrift stores and antique shops, always enjoying the search for something special. She was an Elvis Presley fan who enjoyed listening to his music and collecting Elvis memorabilia. She also enjoyed watching and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. To her nieces and nephews, she was their beloved Aunt Nanny.

Diana believed in God and had been baptized, marking a meaningful step in her faith.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Craig Bye (Heather Howell), Kristin Bye (Travis McLearen), Gordon Bye, and Otto Bye; four great-grandchildren, Tobin McGuire, Daylynn Bye, Riley McLearen, and Hudson McLearen.

Diana was preceded in death by both of her parents; one son, Steven Bye; and one sister, Donna Joyce Juedeman.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Kansas City, MO.
