Darrell Wayne Nease

Darrell Wayne Nease, 40, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024.

He was born January 3, 1984, in Columbia, a son of Billy Nease and Tammy (Gibson) Shipman. On June 29, 2018, in Sedalia, he married LaDonna Hicks, who survives.

Darrell loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his children and all his family. His siblings affectionately called him a Mama’s boy. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Winston.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his father, Billy Nease; stepfather, Curtis Shipman; seven children, Noland, Sean, Brayden, Bethany, Preston, Serenity and Baby Tammy; three stepchildren; five siblings, Joel Fain, Chris Shipman, Bruce Shipman, Dawn Shipman and Jamie Nease; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Shipman; grandfather, Odis Shipman; and cousin, James Nease, Sr.

A Celebration of Darrell’s Life will be held at a later date.
