Danny W. Shepherd
Danny Wayne Shepherd, age 67, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019, at his home.
He was born November 17, 1951, in Co-operative, Kentucky, son of John and Milie (Bolin) Shepherd.
Danny graduated from McCreary County High School Class of 1969. He proudly served in the United State Air Force as an airtraffic controller.
On October 11, 1971, in Whitley City, Kentucky, he married Sandra (Cox).
Danny owned and operated D&S TV in Sedalia.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR. He loved and never missed a Kentucky Wildcat college basketball game.
He was predeceased by his father, John Shepherd; mother, Milie Bolin; four brothers, George, Rodger, Donald and Robert Shepherd; and one sister, Lori Foster.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra Shepherd; his son, Jamey (Sandra) Shepherd; daughter, Rachael (Daryn) Sanders; three granddaughters, Alexis Shepherd, Trinity Sanders and Meadow Sanders; one grandson, Zachery Shepherd; two sisters, Brenda Cooley and Sue Dixon; and a special niece, Sharon Hicks, along with several other nieces and nephews.
No services are planned.
