Constance D. “Connie” Ennis

Constance D. “Connie” (Crouch) Prenger Ennis, 68, of Warrensburg, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at her home.

She was born July 24, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of the late Richard and Carol (Mettler) Crouch.

She painted and remodeled homes for many years. Trucking was her passion and for 14 years she co-owned and operated KIC Transportation in Tomball, Texas.

Connie enjoyed fishing and refinishing furniture in her free time.

Survivors include four children, Travis Prenger, of Green Ridge, Jeremy Mefford, of Texas, Robert Rackers, of Jefferson City and Shane Brady, of Mississippi; 13 grandchildren including Tyler Prenger and McKenzie Lackey; three siblings, Cindy Davis and Kristin Lewis, both of Warrensburg, and Rick Crouch (Virginia), of Radcliff, KY; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Linda Kifer, John Crouch and Sharon Hanson-Crouch.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Sacred Heart Chapel with Father Joe Corel officiating.

Visitation will be 10:00 am until service time.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
