Connie L. Bjur

Connie Lee Bjur, 73, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at her home.

She was born March 1, 1951, in Sedalia, a daughter of the late James V. and Velma J. (Pirtle) Pilkenton.

Survivors include a son Milton Dean Cunningham (Ashley), of Lee’s Summit; son-in-law, Kurt Hoeper, of Kansas City; eight grandchildren, Brittany Tuff (Jamie), Chelsea James, Dara James, Amberlyn Hoeper, Eric Hoeper, Kaleb Cunningham, Kahnner Cunningham and Kyrsten Cunningham; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Hoeper; and a brother, Jimmy Dale Pilkenton.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Crown Hill Cemetery, with Rev. John Dumsday officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
